Women art, Crossfire Hurricane, a new painting by Deborah Chapin

I’ve been working on finishing works by the end of October so have had my nose to the grindstone and getting the garden and house ready for the winter. Still a few more things to do but looks like we’ll have a warming trend this weekend so it’s all good.  So this week I started a new  painting and have really been enjoying the play of color with green, rose and plum grays.   I just finished laying in the pattern for the background so it is coming right along. More later.

On another note, I am getting my Instagram set up as a business account getting ready for my promotions of the coming year.  Petit a Petit as they say.   If only these tools had been around when I was starting out in 1980 what a difference.  Still the show promotions and publications are so much easier but apparently also harder to get them pinpointed to the market if you believe google and facebook.
